Co-founder, Chief Cosmologist & Archetypal Astrologer at Numinous Realm

Somya joined Numinous Realm as a Co-founder in 2021. Prior to this, she was at graduate school studying with cultural historian Dr. Richard Tarnas and evolutionary cosmologist Dr. Brian Swimme, attempting to understand and integrate the archetypal patterns which infiltrate the conscious and unconscious layers of the human psyche. Along with her macro-level research, Somya has been providing archetypal consultations since late 2022, helping clients to excavate and deepen into their archetypal complexes in both life and work. Somya is also the lead designer for Numinous Realm’s clothing line. Alongside Numinous Realm co-founder Abeer Desai, she has been developing an aesthetic vocabulary which correlates with the ever-shifting (and repeating) zeitgeist in the world of fashion. Somya holds an M.A. in Philosophy, Cosmology and Consciousness from CIIS, and a B.S. in Philosophy, Psychology, and Criminology from Northeastern University. She has also deepened her practice with training under Becca Tarnas, PhD, and Jessica DiRuzza, MFT.
